UX/UI Design

Here are a few projects I have done through my internships and courses.

Capgemini Summer Internship Case Study

During my internship this summer with Capgemini, we were tasked with completing a case study. The goal of this project was to create a prototype of an AI based solution for a food delivery startup.

Our team placed 3rd place overall in the US.

Projects at Indiana University

Our team completed a semester-long project in the course, Methods of Human-Centered Computing. We focused on UX research techniques to design, iterate, and create a high-fidelity prototype to find a solution to high resource consumption in college students.

Our team in Product Management designed a new feature for Microsoft Teams to help enhance the user experience for moderate hard-of-hearing individuals who use Teams daily. This semester-long project included extensive research and iterations of our design to create this high-fidelity prototype. We met with real Microsoft employees during this semester to increase our experience with communicating with stakeholders and gain valuable feedback.

For my Web Design and Visualization Internship for Laurie McRobbie Serve IT Clinic we designed and made content edits for the non-profit organization, the Eviction Prevention Project in Bloomington, IN.

At Indiana University, I took a class called Human-Computer Interaction Design and Programming. During the course, we had a semester-long project to create a Figma Prototype to solve a current problem. Because of the Covid Pandemic, we noticed a decline in the mental health of students. We created an app that allows students to express their emotions and mental health concerns through a direct app to teachers.

By inputting their emotions, teachers can notice trends in all of their students, which then allows them to adjust their course load to accommodate students’ mental health struggles.
